Business buyers who troll the Internet for businesses to buy are looking for a job or a lifestyle. The bottom line is:
You won’t find a mature, profitable and fairly priced business on the Internet. Heck, some brokers refuse to even use the Internet sites. Some don’t put their best listings on the Internet because they’ll have to deal with too many unqualified lookiloos.
My business buyer clients follow our plan to get in front of as many businesses as possible, on the public market and hidden market. Buyers have to attack 100% of the market to be successful. Buyers have to approach the market of business sellers the same way companies have to go after all their potential customers. Prospect all of the market, not just the low hanging fruit.
